Vladivostok
Vladivostok has the highest density of surf breaks in Eastern Russia with a dozen spots around the Primorsky Krai region. Typhoon season SE-SSW windswells will penetrate Ussuri Bay and hit some lined-up reefs and points within an hour of downtown, the pick being the rights at Patrokl or Zolotoy Bereg and the left at Emar. Tungus is another longer, lined-up left around the bay near Nakhodka, where solid beachbreak appears at Triozerye.
Sakhalin
Sakhalin represents an extensive coastline but you are only allowed in the sea around Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and Okhotskoye, although other poor quality windslop appears on the south and even west coast around Yablochnoye.
