Mile-Long Waves on the Amazon River With Dylan Graves
- Description
- "Dylan’s been upriver before, but he’s never faced the mighty Amazon River, its tributaries, and its infamous tidal bore known as the Pororoca. One hundred miles from the nearest coast, the team connects with Serginho Laus, a champion tidal bore rider, who has access to the Pororoca’s seemingly most vital piece of equipment: a jetski. Serginho once rode the Pororoca for 34 minutes without stopping, but he’s still super frothy about the experience — which is just as well, because it turns out this river is harder to dial in than it seems. And when the crew come upon a pack of even more stoked locals even further upriver, it also turns out, you don’t really need a jetski to have fun with this beast."
